Celebrating the world below middle C, It is all about that Bass - Clef. Announcing the First and FlagShip year of Solo Bass Fest at Newtown. The dining room is perfect for Acoustic Instruments, owner Omer Shemesh and local D. Treut dreamed up this event to feature a few of the leading bass players that New York City's Avant-Garde and Jazz Scenes have to offer. Each player will be playing a 20 minute set, with a 10 minute break between. This year's roster of rebels includes and features:

To involve generations of Bass Players makes this event singularly unique, the eldest being 86, the youngest being 27, all playing in and on the Basso Continuum of these 4 stringed beasts.
